    NYC SALVAGED PIN-OAK

    TREELINE is the first consumer product to be made out of salvaged trees from NYC’s urban forest. Over 12,500 trees are removed in NYC every year. In the past, these trees were chipped. We work with the NYC Parks Department and other urban forestry partners to divert this wood from the waste stream and utilize it in TREELINE.


    We offer three iconic wood finishes - black, natural, and white - to celebrate the unique and rich texture of this storied material.

    Coated with a clear stain to help highlight the unique character and grain.

    WHITE

    Coated with a semi-opaque white-wash to help highlight the unique character and grain.

    BLACK

    Coated with a semi-opaque black-wash to help highlight the unique character and grain.

    Standard metal options are offered in three powder-coated finishes. Premium I finishes are hand-brushed and give a subtle sheen. Premium II metals offer our most high-touch hardware options. Meticulously polished and finished by hand.

BUILD WITH LIGHT

PLEAT is a new modular lighting system powered by two materials derived from trees: salvaged wood from New York City’s urban forest and traditional Kozo paper made out of mulberry tree bark from Yoshinogawa, Japan, an area known for its long-standing papermaking tradition.

The angled wooden frames are inset with gentle bands of glowing light, seen through the organic texture of Kozo paper carefully hand-folded in Stickbulb’s New York City studio. The result is a study in tension: minimal and muscular in form, yet warm and atmospheric in its illumination.
